Shipping Terms And Conditions

Processing Times:

Please note that the processing time is the time it takes to make your item. 

Current processing time is currently just 1-3 business days.  However, during busy periods (ie festive season), processing times may be extended without notice but should not exceed 7 days.

Please be aware that Welshcrafter Design is a small, home based business. Every item is made at the time of ordering and no stock is held in reserve.  Whilst every effort is made to ensure quick completion of your order please be aware that there may be instances that affect the production time.  You will of course be kept fully informed should there be a delay for any reason.

Shipping Information:

All UK orders are posted via Royal Mail 1st class as standard.  Orders that exceed £10 are sent signed for.  There is also the option to upgrade to guaranteed next day delivery for an additional charge.

Shipping Timescales:

Current Royal Mail shipping recommendations are 1-3 business days for UK based items. However please allow for up 14 days for deliveries during busy periods. 

Please be aware that there may be delays with the postal system. These are out of my control.  If you need your order quickly or by a specific date, it is recommended that you choose guaranteed next day when placing your order.  If you choose the standard delivery I cannot guarantee a delivery date and I am unable to track your order or chase delays.  Royal Mail does not consider a parcel lost until 25 business days has elapsed.

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS: 

PLEASE NOTE - It is your responsibility to cover any import duty fees to your country. This also includes those countries in the EU. 

All International Orders are sent using Royal Mail International Tracked or International Track and Sign.  If your parcel requires a signature upon delivery and you are not home it will be held at your local Post Office for you to collect (and pay any import fees, if applicable).  It is your responsibility to collect the parcel in a timely manner - it will only be held for a certain amount of time (this can vary from county to country).  If your parcel is not collected it will be returned to Welshcrafter Design. You will then need to pay for re-delivery if you still wish to receive the parcel.  I am unable to provide a refund for parcels that have not been collected and subsequently returned to me as this is out of my control.

Please be aware that the maximum weight allowance for International Orders is 2kg.  Any order that exceeds 2kg will need to be sent via an alternative courier which is more expensive.  It may be more cost effective to separate your order into two parts for shipping if you are ordering a lot of items as this will reduce your shipping costs significantly.  I can advise at the time of ordering if applicable.

Royal Mail state that they aim to deliver International Orders within 5-7 business days. However, please allow up to 28 business days, especially during busy periods. Delays may occur due to new rules at custom ports, Covid peaks, fuel shortages etc so please bear these, (and any other relevant situations that may arise globally), in mind and place your order in good time if you have a deadline. 

Refunds will not be given for items arriving late due to postal delays as this is out of my control.
